“Who shall ascend into the hill of the LORD? or who shall stand in his holy place? He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully.”

 Psalm 24:3 – 4

In prayer, we may approach Jesus informally, seeing that He is our advocate or lawyer. However, in approaching God who is the Judge in the court of Heaven, we must approach Him formally. Just as you would not approach a judge informally in a law court, there are also protocols to approaching God in a prayer of petition.  

Although God is our Father and we may have a prayer of fellowship with Him at any time informally, in a prayer of petition, you are approaching God as a judge in a court. This has to be done formally. And you can only approach the throne of God with clean hands and a pure heart, in other words, without sin.

Thus, in approaching God, you have to cleanse yourself with the blood of Jesus. You can only approach God by the blood.   

Prophecy 1: May the blood of Jesus wash and purge you today as you approach His throne in Jesus’ name.

Prophecy 2: As you step out today, may the beauty of God fill your life in Jesus’ name.

Action Points

W: Take advantage of the cleansing power in the blood and ask God to wipe your slate clean. Refuse to stay condemned in any way.

X: I decree and I declare that I walk in the fullness of God’s mercy and grace because of the blood.

Suriname

The Javanese are predominantly Muslim while the Indian community in Suriname are only now beginning to respond to the Gospel and the Chinese churches are growing and actively joining other local churches and missions, to plant more churches among the Chinese in the region.

Y: We are praying for growth in the churches and for more laborers to arise.
