SCRIPTURAL TEXT: EXODUS 33:18
…Moses said, “Please show me your glory.”
October 1st
Our opening scripture today gives a snippet into Moses’ plea to
encounter God’s glory. In the preceding verses, we see a dialogue
between the Prophet Moses and God, where he sought God’s
wisdom and guidance, which was to lead a new nation chosen by God.
This was a great assignment, as no man had ever carried out such giant feat in the past. In verse 18
however, Moses pleads with the God of all flesh to show him His glory. This was a realization that one
encounter with God can cause a man to achieve the impossible. The Lord assured Moses in response
to His request that he would see His goodness. When you encounter the Glory of God, all that you do
becomes a marvel before men. As believers, we must make it a call of duty to ask the Lord in every
endeavor (Matt 7:7).
What is that thing that looks insurmountable or impossible to you? Ask the Lord for an encounter
today and you will see His glory manifest right before your eyes.

Dear Father, show me your glory!

Background: Over 29% are unreached with the Gospel in Lebanon. Conversion to Christ, although legal, is nonetheless very
costly. Despite this, the number of those coming to Jesus is significantly increasing but the Shi’a Muslims are the fastest growing
population and increasingly influential.
We are praying that many will discover the emptiness of a religion without Christ and turn to Him.
We pray for the leaders of this nation that even when they have different opinions and agendas, help them to find
common ground and find ways to compromise. Help the leaders to be mutually supportive of one another..
PRAYER FOR ISRAEL
Father, I ask today that there will be peace in
Jerusalem and that your purposes be
established in that city. Amen (Ps 122:6)
PRAYER FOR NATIONS/LEADERS
Dear Lord, give our leaders humility and respect for one another.
PRAYER FOR UNITY IN THE CHURCH
We are thanking the Lord for the oneness and unity of the faith in
the body of Christ in Jesus name.
PRAYER FOR SOULS / REVIVAL
Father in the name of Jesus, we thank you for purchasing salvation for us on the cross of Calvary through
the death, burial, and resurrection of your Son, we pray that many will discover this love and surrender to
your Lordship in their lives.
