 BE THANKFUL FOR HIS MERCY

Lamentations 3:22 -“It is of the LORD’S mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not.”

It is important as believers that we are grateful to the Lord for all that He does for us. For instance, there are several things that could possibly have gone wrong at home, in the work place or to someone we know in the past few days. Remember that the Bible talks about pestilences and arrows released by the enemy day and night (Psa. 91:6). It is therefore not a coincidence that you and your loved ones have thus far been spared.

Our opening text today shows us clearly; it is as a result of God’s mercies that we have not been consumed! This necessitates that we praise and thank Him for His mercies and loving-kindness by which He daily preserves us.

Begin today by being thankful to the Lord for keeping you and your household from the destructive reach of the devil. Though he continually roars about seeking whom to devour, the Lord will continually encompass you as a shield. Say Amen to that!

PRAYER FOR A NATION -SIERRA LEONE
Over half of its population are Muslims. During the 20th century, Islam grew from 10% to over 60% of the population. The conflict in the nation in the past has left many traumatized: rape victims, victims from mutilation and maiming and former child soldiers.

Prayer for the nation: Father in the name of Jesus, we pray for ministries that will reach out to those involved in crime and violence and provide opportunities for them to live wholesome lives, in Jesus name.

Prayer for the leaders: Father in the name of Jesus, we pray that you will give the leaders a heart for the people, that they will become true servant /leaders, in Jesus name.

PRAYER FOR ISRAEL – (Ps 122:6)
Father in the name of Jesus, we ask today that there will be peace in Jerusalem and that your purposes be established in that city. Amen (Ps 122:6)

PRAYER FOR UNITY IN THE CHURCH
Father in the name of Jesus, we ask for grace to be united as one body of Christ that we might have a significant influence in winning many more souls to the Lord.

PRAYER FOR SOULS/ REVIVAL
Father in the name of Jesus, we pray for all lost souls in our nation that every veil over their eyes be removed and that they may receive Jesus into their hearts.
