BE THANKFUL

“Colossians 2:7 – Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving.

Our opening text today encourages us to be rooted and built up in Christ, and established in the faith by being thankful. It emphasizes the importance of gratitude in our spiritual growth and the multiplication of our fruit.

The concept of multiplying fruit through Thanksgiving is a powerful one. When we acknowledge and express gratitude for the blessings and results we receive, it opens the door for more blessings and opportunities to come our way.

Gratitude keeps us humble and content, allowing us to appreciate what we have and to recognize the hand of God in our lives. On the other hand, when we lack gratitude and become greedy, hindering our progress and shutting the door to the next level.

Today, being the last day of the month, offers you another opportunity to cultivate a heart of gratitude. Count your blessings and give God praise for His faithfulness all through the month. Let joy fill your heart for His goodness, and let your mouth be filled with His praises all day long. He is worthy to be praised!

PRAYER FOR A NATION – POLAND
After suffering the loss of one quarter of its population during WWII, Poland struggled to avoid falling into financial ruin under the direction of the Soviet Union. There is a desperate need for evangelical witnesses, with 90% of the municipalities having no church, while Pagan, Wiccan, and New Age religions are gaining followers.

Prayer for the Nation:
Father in the name of Jesus, we break every hold of the devil over this nation that is keeping the people from seeing the light; we pray that their eyes be opened in the name of Jesus.

Prayer for the Leaders:
Father in the name of Jesus, give unto the leaders of Poland the humility of heart to return to the Lord, and to seek His guidance and leadership for the peace and prosperity of their nation, in Jesus Name.

Prayer for Israel – (Ps 122:6)
Father in the name of Jesus, we ask today, that there will be peace in Jerusalem and that your purposes be established in that city. Amen. (Ps 122:6)

PRAYER FOR UNITY IN THE CHURCH
Father in the name of Jesus, we ask that you will help the church to walk in love and oneness; and we come against every spirit of disunity, in the name of Jesus.

PRAYER FOR SOULS / REVIVAL
Father in the name of Jesus, pour out your Spirit upon our city today, and cause a revival of soulwinning to be birthed in the Church, that we may reap a bountiful harvest of souls, in the name of Jesus.
