To be dependable is to be reliable, trustworthy, constant, and sure. A dependable man is capable of being depended on and is one whose words can be trusted. A dependable man is also one who is able to provide what is needed by others irrespective of time, distance, cost, and other variables.
Dependability is doing everything in your power to ensure that you do what you said you would do when you said you would do it. Sadly, this virtue is lacking in many and this is why they are unable to retain their clientele or build healthy business relationships.
Thus, it is important to train yourself to be someone that others can depend on to deliver goods and services within specified or agreed
timelines without fear of disappointment. And, if there are legitimate reasons you may be unable to deliver as you promised, ensure to properly brief your clients or partners. You can never lose being a dependable person.

I really love this two words that today’s devotional speaks about. Which is being trustworthy and keeping to time. Trust is no longer common in our society because most people don’t keep to time or do according to what they’ve agreed on the beginning of something or businesses. It’s make client or partners not to be able to depend on them for anything. It really hurts partners to find out that someone they’re doing business with are not always keeping to time or what they have said from the beginning. And this has made so many people loose clients and their jobs, yet still don’t change. They thinks it’s just part of them to disappoint not knowing that they need God in their life.

with the ever growing decay in society, dependability becomes a virtue in business but a burden in personal or private life, i’ll love our prophet to help us set a balance, there a lots of people who’ve made decisions never to be dependable due to over use and abuse of their dependability by family and friends. how do we prevent abuse and draw a line, and where should we draw the line? how do we fend off users, the last time I asked this question, the answer i got was “do good to them who despitefully use you”. but then how do we deal with the psychological and metal drain caused by such individuals?
