CONVERT HOPE TO FAITH

Read in your own language

July 10, 2023
“Scriptural Text: Hebrews 11:1  (NKJV)

“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”

What many imply when they speak about having faith is having an expectation or holding a positive outlook on life. Yet, this description does not fit what the Bible shows us to be faith. To have faith is not to be in euphoria because you have just heard the word, or just some form of motivation that fades out with time. Hope is not the same as faith.

When one hears the word of God, he receives hope because he begins to see possibilities. However, many realize that this hope begins to fade as time goes by, leaving them doubting or altogether forgetting all they have heard. It is only when that hope is converted through the process of belief that it becomes faith.

Thus, whenever you hear the Word of God, do not stop at merely hearing it. Go back to meditate on what you have heard, giving diligence to declare the Word over and over, until your heart picks it from your head, and you are able to act out the Word without an iota of doubt. This is the work that you must do every day.

Therefore, keep working on your believing, by meditating on the Word until you truly believe in your heart and act in line with what you believe, then your faith can produce enormous results.

🙏 DAILY PRAYER GUIDE
Father in the name of Jesus, help me to be consistent in meditating on your Word, and that my faith may produce results in the name of Jesus.

🏞️ PRAYER FOR A NATION – NORTH KOREA
Known as the “Hermit Kingdom,” North Korea has chosen to isolate its people from the outside world. Once called the “Jerusalem of the East,” Pyongyang, North Korea’s capital, no longer can claim that title as many of its Christians fled to South Korea during the Korean War.

1. Prayer for the nation: Father in the name of Jesus, we pray for the believers in secret cells in North Korea, that they will be strengthened with might in their inner man to hold unto God amidst the threat of persecution, in Jesus Name.

2. Prayer for the leaders: Father in the name of Jesus, we ask that You will give the leaders of this nation insight into the needs of their communities and discernment to make decisions that align with the will of God for the nation, in Jesus Name.

🕍 PRAYER FOR ISRAEL – ( [popup_anything id=”5015″] )
Father in the name of Jesus, show your mercy and favour in this set time to Israel. Let your mercy not depart from Israel, in Jesus name.

💒 PRAYER FOR UNITY IN THE CHURCH
Father in the name of Jesus, we pray that the Body of Christ will walk in unity and be a formidable force, bringing about a mighty revival on the earth in Jesus name.

☄️ PRAYER FOR SOULS / REVIVAL
Father in the name of Jesus, we pray for the lost in our city and its environs, that the light of the glorious Gospel of Christ will shine unto them, thereby destroying every veil that blinds their minds from the truth.
