DISCOVER THE WILL OF GOD

Scriptural Text: Psalm 25:4
“Shew me thy ways, O LORD; teach me thy paths.”

Our opening prayer today is the heart cry of David, as He seeks to know the ways of the Lord and be taught to walk in His path.

In other words, his desire and prayer was to know what God wants, how God wants it, and when He wants it done. What a prayer!

To discover is to find out information that was previously unknown. It is to find out something after a search; to notice, to ascertain and to discern.

It is vital to first discover the will of God about a situation, desire or need before we push for its implementation in prayer.

So, while the general will of God is clear about several matters, as believers, we ought to through prayer discover the specific word of God about certain issues, especially as they relate to decision making

Our desire must be like that of David; to know His will so we may do it to the letter.

Therefore, set out time today to seek the Lord in prayers, regarding your present state or an impending decision.

Through His Word and by His Spirit, He will show you His ways and His will so that you may follow in His paths.

Father in the name of Jesus, show me your ways and teach me to follow in your paths, in Jesus Name.

🏴PRAYER FOR A NATION:PAPUA NEW GUINEA
Papua New Guinea is a complex island nation and one of the most culturally diverse in the world. Ninety-six percent of people are Christian,

but there are spiritual strongholds over the people through traditions of witchcraft, spiritism, and related violence.

There is a history of tribal fighting and revenge killings, a sign of great division amongst the people. In the present day, gang violence is increasing in the cities.

Prayer for the nation:
Father in the name of Jesus, we pray for the unity of the Spirit across isolated and diverse church communities in the nation, that they may act as one in partnering with you to cause a revival in the nation.

Prayer for the leaders: :
Father in the name of Jesus, cause the leaders of Papua New Guinea to yield to the leading of your Spirit, that they may make decisions that align with your will, in Jesus Name.

🕍 PRAYER FOR ISRAEL – ( Psalms 122-6 )(Ps 122:6)
Father in the name of Jesus, show your mercy and favour in this set time to Israel. Let your mercy not depart from Israel, in Jesus name.

💒PRAYER FOR UNITY IN THE CHURCH
Father in the name of Jesus, cause the spirit of unity and oneness to rest upon the Body of Christ today in Jesus Name.

☄️PRAYER FOR SOULS / REVIVAL
Father in the name of Jesus, cause the veil of darkness upon the hearts of unbelievers to be removed today, that many may see the light and embrace your salvation, in Jesus Name.
