DISHONOUR HINDERS THE GLORY

Read in your own language

And the cloud departed from off the tabernacle; and, behold, Miriam became leprous, white as snow: and Aaron looked upon Miriam, and, behold, she was leprous. Numbers 12:10

The Kingdom of God is a highly orderly and organized kingdom with systems that must be followed in order to experience the power and the glory of the Kingdom. Dishonour brings disoderliness. God will not come to a place where His set authority is disregarded. You must understand that dishonouring the people God has placed in authority in the Church is a grave offence and will attract the wrath of God.

The event in Numbers 12 shows us the importance of honouring authority. Miriam and Aaron spoke against Moses because he had married an Ethiopian woman which they were instructed not to marry. Yes, Moses went against the instruction, but it was not in the place and power of Aaron and Miriam to judge Him. As soon as they did, God summoned them in anger.

God wants to come down in His glory and power but order must be restored in the church of God. Speaking against someone in authority is disregarding the authority set in place by God and God doesn’t take it lightly. To qualify to Host the glory of God, we must recognize and honour set authorities. Do a search on yourself right now and repent before the Lord if you are failing in this regard.

Prophecy 1: Receive grace to honour those in authority in Jesus’ name, Amen!

Prophecy 2: As you step out today, may you find favour before men in Jesus’ name, Amen!

Action Points

W: Consider how much you regard God’s ministers? Is it according to the set order? If not, amend your ways.

X: I decree and I declare that my heart is set on pleasing the Lord!

Slovenia

The churches in Slovenia are lacking in spiritual vitality. They are rapidly declining into irrelevance while agnosticism, New Age and different forms of Eastern religious beliefs are increasing, generally, there is spiritual apathy, even among those who notionally believe in God.

Y: We are praying for a mighty move of God’s spirit upon the land that many will see the manifestation of the power of God and hold unto Christ only.

Start-Up Prayer

Dear Father, help me recognize, honour and submit to set authorities in your House in Jesus’ name, Amen.
