EMBRACE THE NEW
Scriptural Text: Isaiah 43:18-19
"Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland."
Have you ever felt weighed down by the mistakes and regrets of your past? Do you find yourself dwelling on former things, unable to fully embrace the new things that God wants to do in your life? Do you often struggle with guilt, and find it difficult to forgive yourself and move on? It is important to note that when we hold onto the past, we limit God's ability to work in our lives. We become so focused on what was, that we fail to see what can be
Our opening text today contains the Word of the Lord to you, urging that you forget the former things and refuse to dwell on the past. He wants you to understand that He is constantly at work, doing new things in your life. Just as He made a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland for the Israelites, He is making a way for you in the midst of your challenges. This is a truth you must embrace.
Therefore, do not continue in guilt or unforgiveness. If you have mistakes or hurts that you need to release to the Lord, or even thought patterns that keep you bound to habits that limit your progress, apply now for the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ to break free from them all, and to walk in the liberty wherewith Christ has made you free (Gal. 5:1).
A glorious future awaits you in God. Do not settle for anything less. The old is gone, the new has come, embrace it!

“Isaiah 43:18-19 – “Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.”

Have you ever felt weighed down by the mistakes and regrets of your past? Do you find yourself dwelling on former things, unable to fully embrace the new things that God wants to do in your life?
