To see the wonders of God manifest in your life as a believer, Praise is a must. Praise brings God on the scene and puts the enemies to flight. When faced with a stubborn challenge that will not just give way, you should engage in this strategy. Praise invokes divine intervention in your life.
We see this in 2 Chronicles 20, in the midst of a very fierce battle against Jehoshaphat, he appointed singers before the army to praise God. Wow! this must have looked like a joke, but it worked. It always does. The divine strategy used to defeat the enemy was praise.
You can declare a Praise fast, by sacrificially setting aside specific times to praise God. This is not just a regular praise session. It is the decision and discipline to spend a particular time to praise God. For instance, you can decide to spend two hours out of your sleep every night just praising God for a period of one month. That is a sacrifice of praise because you are giving up your convenience and rest to praise Him. This kind of praise has the potential to activate the power of God on your behalf. It has the ability to take you out of any form of captivity and bring you to a place of plenty. Glory to God!
