ENJOY SUPERNATURAL HELP

2Chronicles 26:15
“And he made in Jerusalem engines, invented by cunning men, to be on the towers and upon the bulwarks, to shoot arrows and great stones withal. And his name spread far abroad; for he was marvellously helped, till he was strong.”

What is the secret to succeeding even in the midst of opposition and unfavourable circumstances? Our opening text today shows us the answer; it is being marvellously helped by God!

Severally, Christ Jesus found Himself in what could be called tight corners. Once left behind at sea, He walked on water (Matt. 14:29). At another time, He avoided the embarrassment of tax officers by bringing out coins from the mouth of a fish (Matt 17:27). These and more help us to see that as believers, we cannot be stranded or grounded. Glory to God!

When you seem boxed in or fast running out of options, cry unto the Lord, and commune with the Holy Spirit who is the Master Strategist. For every situation, He has a strategy to give you victory. By His voice, you would be led from one victory into another, until your territory is enlarged and all enemies are crushed. Shout Amen!

PRAYER FOR A NATION – SRI LANKA
84% are unreached with the Gospel while the largest religion is Buddhism. Sri Lanka has suffered much in the past generation from bloody civil wars, which caused many to emigrate and over one million are displaced. Malnutrition, selective abortion, and child prostitution are on the rise in Sri Lanka.

Prayer for the nation: Father in the name of Jesus, we pray for a mighty revival in this land, that as the people turn to the Lord, there will be a mighty turnaround in their lives, in Jesus’ name.

Prayer for the leaders: Father in the name of Jesus, we pray for wisdom upon the government officials to handle the inaccessibility challenge affecting the spread of the Gospel in the land.

PRAYER FOR ISRAEL – (Ps 122:6)
Father in the name of Jesus, we ask today that there will be peace in Jerusalem and that your purposes be established in that city. Amen (Ps 122:6)

PRAYER FOR UNITY IN THE CHURCH
Father in the name of Jesus, we bind every spirit of selfishness in the church; and we ask for grace to be selfless, forbearing one another in Jesus’ name.

PRAYER FOR SOULS/ REVIVAL
Father in the name of Jesus, we pray for more doors of the Gospel to be opened unto us in various cities, nations and continents, in Jesus name.
