GOD IS SUPREME

Read in your own language

SCRIPTURAL TEXT

(Psalm: 135:6)

“Whatsoever the LORD pleased, that did he in heaven, and in earth, in the seas, and all places.”

Our God is a Supreme God and has ultimate power. He is entirely independent and does what He pleases Him. He is the only One that depends on nothing. Everyone else depends on something, people or systems to survive and everything we need to survive was created by Him. Everything and everyone draws its existence from God.

God is the only One who is sovereign. You cannot tell Him what you think is right or force Him to do what He doesn’t want to do. He is mighty in power and great beyond imagination. This simply means that God possesses all power in existence, including that which would ever be needed in time and beyond existence. He never needs to depend on anyone to do anything!

He is the only Being that has the power to do as He pleases in heaven, in the earth, the seas and deep places without being stopped or questioned. He should therefore, be greatly feared by everyone because He alone is sovereign. Think about these attributes of God. Is there anyone that comes close? Should such a Being not be feared greatly? Therefore, set your heart to fear and have deep reverence for Him today and always. Glory to God!

Prophecy 1: May your fear of God deepen today in Jesus name.

Prophecy 2: As you step out today, may all that you need come your way in Jesus name.

Action Points

W: Ponder on His greatness and repent in any way you have not reverenced Him in your life.

X: I decree and I declare that I am super blessed today.

Tonga

Tonga’s rich Christian heritage is a blessing, but has reached the point of over-saturation. The proliferation of denominations generates competition among churches, as newer groups entice believers away. Isolation and the difficult economic situation complicate issues further.

Y: We are praying that Tongan Christians would seek ways to contribute to the Kingdom of God rather than seeking the church that benefits them the most.

Startup Prayer: Dear Father, I bow down and worship You, You deserve my worship, You are indescribable, incomparable, Your praise will never cease from my lips in Jesus name.
