GROW BY DILIGENCE

“Romans 10:17 – “So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.”

The Word of God is the carrier of faith. Our opening scripture shows us that faith comes as we hear the Word. We can deduce therefore, that the more a believer fellowships with the Word of God, the more his or her faith will grow. Thus, diligence in fellowshipping with the Word is key in increasing your faith.

Diligence is what makes faith great! For example, the best you can get while attending church service alone is to hear the Word, which may give you little faith. Going the extra mile to further study in your privacy and meditate on the Word can help you achieve healthy faith. But, it is those who listen again and again, meditate on the Word and act on it that will grow to possess great faith.

Thus, it is possible to migrate from one measure of faith to another. You just need to become diligent and focused on growing your faith, beginning with a dedication to constantly hear the word, meditate on it and seek avenues to put the Word to use in your life. As your faith produces results in little things, you can begin to use it on stronger and bigger issues, and it will grow.

Startup Prayer: Father in the name of Jesus, give me grace to be diligent in fellowshipping with your Word, that I may grow in faith and do exploits thereby, in Jesus Name.

1. Father in the name of Jesus, we pray for a fresh move of your spirit upon this nation that it will cause a wave of revival in all it’s streets and communities.

2. Father in the name of Jesus, give unto the leaders of Philippines a heart to know you, that they might be yielded to the leadership of your Spirit, in Jesus name.

Father, we pray that the church will be baptized with the spirit of love and unity, and thus, experience growth and increase, in Jesus name.

Father, we pray that your word that we preach will grow and prevail mightily in our city, leading to a mighty harvest of souls into your Kingdom, in Jesus name.
