KEEP YOUR FIRE BURNING

2Timothy 1:14
“That good thing which was committed unto thee keep by the Holy Ghost which dwelleth in us”

It is one thing to pray as one’s heart leads, but it is another thing to allow the Holy Ghost to pray through you, because you cannot effectively navigate in the place of prayers without Him. Like the Scripture says, we do not know what to pray and how to pray as we ought to, but the Holy Spirit Himself prays through us with groanings which cannot be uttered in our earthly languages. (Rom. 8:26)

Also, in our opening scripture today, we see the Apostle Paul’s admonition to Timothy to keep God’s investment in him secure by praying in the Holy Ghost. This means that by praying in tongues, you can facilitate the sustainance and preservation of what you have received. This shows that it takes the power of the Holy Spirit to sustain a revival and keep the fire of desire for God burning in your heart.

It is therefore important that you create a system or schedule that helps you pray in tongues as often as possible, every day. This will keep you stirred up, keeping Satan away from you and all that concerns you. There is no better way to stay aflame for God – full of faith than to pray in the Holy Ghost!

Startup Prayer: Father in the name of Jesus, I thank you for the gift of your Holy Spirit in me on assignment to give me an advantage in this world and in my walk with you. Help me to be faithful in my fellowship with Him, so I may stay aflame for you in Jesus Name.

PRAYER FOR A NATION-TAJIKSTAN
Christianity is a minority religion in Tajikistan. Church services are often disrupted and Christians risk harassment and arrest for holding private prayer meetings or possessing ‘illegal’ religious material

Prayer for the nation:
Father in the name of Jesus, we bind every force of darkness that is resisting the spread of the Gospel in this nation, in Jesus name.

Prayer for the leaders:
Father in the name of Jesus, we pray that you will help the leaders of this nation to be consistent, committed, and faithful in their service to the people, in Jesus name.

PRAYER FOR ISRAEL – (Ps 122:6)
Father in the name of Jesus, we ask today that there will be peace in Jerusalem and that your purposes be established in that city. Amen (Ps 122:6)

PRAYER FOR UNITY IN THE CHURCH
Father in the name of Jesus, we ask that Your spirit of love and unity will rest on every member of the body of Christ, and thus, we will speak with one voice even in these last days, in Jesus name.

PRAYER FOR SOULS/ REVIVAL
Father in the name of Jesus, we pray for the lost souls in our cities, that they will be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth, in Jesus name.
