LABOUR IN THE WORD

Scriptural Text: 2 Timothy 2:15
Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

To Labour in the Word is to dedicate time and effort to study and understand God's Word.

Just as we invest in our careers, education, and skills, we must also invest in our spiritual growth. The Word of God is a treasure of wisdom that can transform our lives.

God's Word is a lamp unto our feet and a light unto our path (Psalm 119:105). It illuminates the way we should go, helping us make wise decisions.

Thus, when we labour in the Word, we position ourselves to receive divine insight and direction.

Studying the Word of God also equips us to be workmen who are approved by God, just as our opening text states.

It enables us to discern truth from falsehood, to understand God's will, and to make choices that align with His purposes.

Therefore, make a conscious decision to prioritize labouring in the Word daily. Set aside dedicated time each day to read and meditate on the Scriptures.

So, labour in the place of prayer and position yourself to reap a harvest of testimonies thereby.

As you do so, God will illuminate your mind with wisdom and give you understanding in all areas of your life.

Father in the name of Jesus, give me the grace to be consistent in the study of your Word, in Jesus Name.

🏴PRAYER FOR A NATION: PARAGUAY
Paraguay's government promotes religious freedom and most of the population is Roman Catholic,

but because of its location in the center of South America, Paraguay has become involved in the crime of larger surrounding countries like Brazil and Argentina.

Economically, many of its people live below the poverty line.

Prayer for the nation:
Father in the name of Jesus, pour out your Spirit upon the nation Paraguay, and cause the power of crime and superstition to be broken in the land, in Jesus Name.

Prayer for the leaders: :
Father in the name of Jesus, we ask that you cause government leaders to embrace righteousness in place of corruption in the nation, in Jesus Name.

🕍 PRAYER FOR ISRAEL – ( Psalms 122-6 )(Ps 122:6)
Father in the name of Jesus, show your mercy and favour in this set time to Israel. Let your mercy not depart from Israel, in Jesus name.

💒PRAYER FOR UNITY IN THE CHURCH
Dear Father, we pray for the body of Christ, we ask that you will raise men and women who will contend for the unity of faith in all places and at all times, in Jesus name.

☄️PRAYER FOR SOULS / REVIVAL
Father in the name of Jesus, we ask that your revival fire will rest upon the hearts of men and women in our cities, thus leading to a widespread of the message of the cross to all the nations of the earth in Jesus name.
