“Either make the tree good, and his fruit good; or else make the tree corrupt, and his fruit corrupt: for the tree is known by his fruit.”
Matthew 12:33
Man is a tree that can either produce good fruit or corrupt fruit. As important as it is to bear fruit, it is more important to bear good fruit. We live in a world where there is much tussle for influence and affluence, and many rarely paying attention to the processes involved to achieving this, whether good or evil. There are lots of successful people in the world today, but not many have good fruit that can cross over into eternity.
However, as a believer, you must become conscious of the things you do, and the words you say, so that you will not produce corrupt fruit. A corrupt fruit is one that does not give life and has no eternal value.
Therefore, make up your mind to produce fruits and make impact that will help others, propagate the Gospel, and eventually, produce eternal reward.
