 PLANT GOD’S WORD

Luke 8:11
 “Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God.”

God’s Word contains all you need for a successful life. However, God’s Word will not produce results in your life just because you scanned through it or because you placed the Bible under your pillow all night long. Like our opening text shows us, God’s Word can be likened to a seed which has to first be planted before it can produce results in your life.

One way to plant God’s Word is through meditation. Constantly ruminating on what Christ has done for you, who you are in Christ, and the life that you now have in Him will yield the fruit of constant victory in your life. Also, you must learn to put God’s Word into your speech, because making bold declarations of the Truth will enforce the performance of God’s promises in your life. Glory to God!

Therefore, train yourself to meditate on God’s Word this month, as this will feed and refresh your spirit. Also, train yourself to confess the Word even in the face of contrary situations to recreate everything around you. This is how to gain momentum for a new level in your life this year.

Startup Prayer: Dear Lord, strengthen me to give my undivided attention to the Word today in Jesus name.

PRAYER FOR A NATION – SOUTH SUDAN
South Sudan is the world’s newest country. The nation was born in a great spirit of unity, happiness, and hope. Thank God for freedom from the long, painful domination by the north Sudan which is now mainly Arab and Muslim, while South Sudan is mainly Black and Christian.

Prayer for the nation:
Father in the name of Jesus, we pray that believers in this land will live exemplary lives that will bring many to salvation, in Jesus’ name.

Prayer for the leaders: Father in the name of Jesus, we pray that the leaders of South Sudan will have godly counselors who will advice them in the truth at all times, in Jesus name.

PRAYER FOR ISRAEL – (Ps 122:6)
Father in the name of Jesus, we ask today that there will be peace in Jerusalem and that your purposes be established in that city. Amen (Ps 122:6)

PRAYER FOR UNITY IN THE CHURCH
Father in the name of Jesus, we pray that the church will be established upon the foundation that you have laid for it, in Jesus name.

PRAYER FOR SOULS/ REVIVAL
Father in the name of Jesus, we pray for all souls that have been saved through our outreaches, we ask that they will be sanctified by the Holy Ghost, in Jesus name
