PRAISE THROUGH!

Acts 16:25
 “And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them.”

Surely, times of persecutions will arise for those who believe in Christ (John 15:20). For those who choose righteousness, circumstances of suffering will arise on account of their faith in Christ, but our response to such and God’s strategy for causing us to triumph is amazing. Our opening text today shows us the winning way.

Paul and Silas were found praying and singing praises to God right from the prison room, where many would have resorted to railings and weeping and cursing if they were to be in the same situation. They prayed and sang praises to God until the gates of that jail flung open. Glory to God!

It would no longer be news if tribulations came your way for the sake of Christ, what would make the news is the testimony of how you overcame and emerged with a testimony. Praise is the key that leaves you stronger and focused on the ability of God to save and deliver. He never fails; Halleluyah!

PRAYER FOR A NATION – SPAIN
The Muslim population is rapidly growing. Drug addiction is a stain on Spain, which rates as one of Europe’s spot for heroin and cocaine addiction. This in turn is a major contributing factor in the AIDS epidemic and the crime rate in the nation. Young people need the Gospel, having given themselves over to postmodern materialism and hedonism.

Prayer for the nation:
Father in the name of Jesus we ask that you pour out your Spirit upon the nation Spain and cause a revival to spring up among the youths and unsaved, in Jesus name.

Prayer for the leaders: Father in the name of Jesus, we pray that the eyes of the leaders will be opened to the things of the Spirit, that they will make decisions in line with your Spirit, in Jesus name.

PRAYER FOR ISRAEL – (Ps 122:6)
Father in the name of Jesus, we ask today that there will be peace in Jerusalem and that your purposes be established in that city. Amen (Ps 122:6)

PRAYER FOR UNITY IN THE CHURCH
Father in the name of Jesus, we ask that as the church walk in unity and oneness, that you will add more saved souls unto us daily, in Jesus name.

PRAYER FOR SOULS/ REVIVAL
Father in the name of Jesus, we come against the spirit of prayerlessness, distractions, and carelessness in the life of our labouers and missionaries in Jesus name.
