If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”
2 Chronicles 2:14
There is no such thing as a revival without the ministry of prayers. Prayer is the womb that births revival. Every revival is born out of passionate desire and heart cry to God by believers. This is clearly stated in our scriptural text today. God is eager but we have our part to play by inviting Him through our prayer.
Our prayers are actions of humility, meant to strip us of self-seeking thoughts and self-righteousness to bring us to seeking the face of God, turning from every wickedness that can be a hindrance to the move of God. It takes a person of consistent, steadfast, and efficacious prayers to manifest the revival of God and bring His power upon the earth.
As a believer, you must understand that you are an important part of the body of Christ and your prayers will go a long way in establishing the purpose of God on earth which is the revival of the world. It is time to pray like never before. Hallelujah!
