RESIST THE ENEMY BY THE WORD

   Luke 4:8
And Jesus answered and said unto him, Get thee behind me, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve”.

Thrice, the devil attempted to put the Lord Jesus down through diverse temptations, but thrice Christ used that opportunity to teach us the value and potency of the written Word when we are faced with adversity, temptations and life’s trying situations. There is no challenge that the Word cannot overcome.

The enemy cannot stand against a believer armed with the word of God. Just like the Lord Jesus did, by the word of God we can resist and prevail against every wiles of the devil. This is why you must study the Word diligently, filling your heart in meditation, and your mouth in declaration of what is written. This is the daily diligence required of you.

Therefore, fill your heart with the word of God daily because you do not know the day or the hour when the tempter will seek to topple you and bring you down. Your consistency in fellowshipping with the Word is preparing you to stand in the day of adversity. Do not compromise the process!

DAILY PRAYER GUIDE

Start-up prayer: Father in the name of Jesus, I ask for grace to diligently fill my heart with your Word in meditation, that I may be able to stand firm in the face of adversity, in Jesus’ Name.

PRAYER FOR A NATION – SLOVENIA.

The churches in SLOVENIA are lacking in spiritual vitality. Christianity is rapidly declining into irrelevance while agnosticism, New Age and different forms of Eastern religious beliefs are increasing. Generally, there is spiritual apathy, even among those who notionally believe in God.

Prayer for the Nation: Father in the name of Jesus, we pray for a deeper revelation of the Word in the Churches in Slovenia, that the eyes of many will be opened to the truth of the Gospel, in Jesus name.

Prayer for the Leaders:
Father in the name of Jesus, raise unto yourself leaders who love righteousness and fear your name, that they may stir the affairs of the nation towards your will, in Jesus name.

Prayer For Israel – (Ps 122:6) : Father in the name of Jesus, we ask today that there will be peace in Jerusalem and that your purposes be established in that city. Amen (Ps 122:6)

Prayer For Unity in The Church: Father in the name of Jesus, we pray that you will give the leaders of the church a perfect heart: a heart that continually seeks after you, in Jesus name.

Prayer For Souls/Revival: Father in the name of Jesus, we pray that the light of the glorious Gospel of Christ will shine in the hearts of every unsaved person in our city today, in Jesus name
