RETURN TO ORDINANCES

Scriptural Text: Revelation 2:4-5
“Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love. Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works”

In the beginning, God created man to have unbroken fellowship with Him. This was evident as we see the LORD coming down in the cool of the day to speak with Adam (Gen. 3:8).

However, when sin came, that level of intimacy was lost and man's fellowship with God was broken, as man became distant from His Creator, creating a void that needed to be filled to restore man to God.

Revival encompasses a return to God, a return to His ways and ordinances.

This is what our opening text today speaks about; a call to return to the Lord in repentance and willingness to keep his ordinances.

When this happens we begin to experience a new level of intimacy, completeness and fulfilment in God.

Today, look into your life and let the Holy Spirit show you areas where you have drawn back from the Lord, and where you may have forsaken your first love.

Also, consider what God has instructed you to do this season and how well you have given attention to that.

It is time to return to the Lord in complete obedience, and to keep His ordinances by the help of His Spirit.

🙏 Startup Prayer
Father in the name of Jesus, teach me to keep your ordinances and return to your ways in all things, in Jesus Name.

Papua New Guinea is a complex island nation and one of the most culturally diverse in the world. Ninety-six percent of people are Christian,

but there are spiritual strongholds over the people through traditions of witchcraft, spiritism, and related violence.

There is a history of tribal fighting and revenge killings, a sign of great division amongst the people. In the present day, gang violence is increasing in the cities.

Prayer for the nation:
Father in the name of Jesus, we pray for a fresh move of your spirit upon this nation that it will cause a wave of revival in all it's streets and communities.

Prayer for the leaders: :
Father in the name of Jesus, we pray for the influence of your Spirit upon the leaders of Papua New Guinea, that they may make decisions that align with your purpose for the nation, in Jesus Name.

🕍 PRAYER FOR ISRAEL – ( Psalms 122-6 )(Ps 122:6)
Father in the name of Jesus, show your mercy and favour in this set time to Israel. Let your mercy not depart from Israel, in Jesus name.

💒PRAYER FOR UNITY IN THE CHURCH
Father in the name of Jesus, we thank you for the spirit of oneness and the unity of the faith that is in the body of Christ.

☄️PRAYER FOR SOULS / REVIVAL
Father in the name of Jesus, we thank you for purchasing salvation for us on the cross of Calvary through the death, burial, and resurrection of your son, we pray that many will discover this love and surrender to your lordship in their lives.
