RUN TO GOD

Scriptural Text: 2 Corinthians 3:5
“Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think anything as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God;”

Some believers keep away from witnessing because they consider their insufficiency and observe their own imperfections,

whereas the Bible never restricts soulwinning to those who are ‘holy and perfect’. Reaching out with the Gospel of Jesus Christ is an assignment for all believers, not for the perfect.

Our opening text today says that our sufficiency is of God. This means that whenever we feel inadequate, we ought to draw closer to the One who is self-sufficient.

The closer you get to God through fellowship with His Word and Spirit, the more of His fire is activated in you, giving you the boldness and confidence to do His work.

Therefore, in times when you feel insufficient, run to God and not from Him.

Set your sight on going deeper in your walk with Him, and you will begin to see how you really cannot do without Him,

a realization which draws you even closer to Him as you learn total dependence on Him in all things.

🙏 Startup Prayer
Oh Lord my God, my sufficiency is of you. Help me to submit myself to your will as I fellowship with you every day in Jesus Name.

🏴PRAYER FOR A NATION:PAPUA NEW GUINEA
Papua New Guinea is a complex island nation and one of the most culturally diverse in the world. Ninety-six percent of people are Christian,

but there are spiritual strongholds over the people through traditions of witchcraft, spiritism, and related violence.

There is a history of tribal fighting and revenge killings, a sign of great division amongst the people. In the present day, gang violence is increasing in the cities.

Prayer for the nation:
Father in the name of Jesus, we pray for the unity of the Spirit across isolated and diverse church communities in the nation, that they may act as one in partnering with you to cause a revival in the nation.

Prayer for the leaders: :
Father in the name of Jesus, cause the leaders of this nation to lead with the fear of You in their hearts in Jesus name.

🕍 PRAYER FOR ISRAEL – ( Psalms 122-6 )(Ps 122:6)
Father in the name of Jesus, show your mercy and favour in this set time to Israel. Let your mercy not depart from Israel, in Jesus name.

💒PRAYER FOR UNITY IN THE CHURCH
Dear Father, we pray that the church of Jesus Christ will stand firm and perfect in the will of God, in Jesus name.

☄️PRAYER FOR SOULS / REVIVAL
Father in the name of Jesus, we pray for all those who are under the oppression of Satan in our city, we declare that they are free, in the name of Jesus.
