TAKE AWAY THE BARRIER

Read in your own language

“Behold, the Lord’s hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear: But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear.”

Isaiah 59:1-2

As believers, we sometimes wonder why we pray but it seems like God does not hear us. Also, we may wonder if the situation is too tough for God to handle, or maybe our voices or prayers are not loud enough for Him to hear. Not at all! Our opening Scripture today, shows us a major reason why this may happen.

When we live in unrepented sin, our sins become like a wall or barrier that separates us from God and makes Him hide His face from us. This is because He cannot behold sin. (Habakkuk 1:13)

However, because of His immeasurable love for mankind, God provided a remedy in the blood of His son Jesus, and if we confess our sins, the blood of Jesus is able to wash and cleanse us from our sins, thereby taking away the barrier and restoring our access to the Father. (1 John:9)

If sin has been the barrier in your prayer life, do not wallow in it. Go to God in repentance, so that the barrier that sin places between you and God can be taken away. Glory to God!

Prophecy 1: May every barrier to your next level be taken away in Jesus’ name.

Prophecy 2: As you step out today, may you be led by the Spirit of God in Jesus’ name.
