THANKSGIVING PERFECTS

“Luke 17:17,19
And Jesus answering said, were there not ten cleansed? but where are the nine? There are not found that returned to give glory to God, save this stranger. And he said unto him, Arise, go thy way: thy faith hath made thee whole. ”

To be made “perfect” is to be made “complete, whole and lacking nothing”. It also means “excellent, flawless, finished and entire”. The prayer of thanksgiving perfects what God has begun to do in our lives.

Thanksgiving takes us into a place where we lack nothing of the present will of God for our lives. This is clearly seen in the story of the lepers who came to Jesus in our opening text today. Only one of the ten healed lepers was certified ‘whole’, just because he returned to give glory to God.

Have you recently gotten a breakthrough, or received an answer to prayer? Remember that perfection and completeness is reserved only for those who return in heartfelt gratitude. PRAYER FOR A NATION – SERBIA
18% are unreached with the Gospel. Due to past wars, millions were uprooted and became refugees or internally displaced. The trauma has opened the hearts of the people to the Gospel especially the young people.

Prayer for the nation:
Father in the name of Jesus, we pray for effective teaching ministries to be established in this nation, so that the teaching of the Word will cause the people to handle and overcome the trauma from the past, in Jesus Name.

Prayer for the leaders:
Father in the name of Jesus, we ask that you will give the leaders of this nation, the wisdom to make laws that will protect the freedom of the people so they can live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and dignity.

PRAYER FOR ISRAEL – (Ps 122:6)
Father in the name of Jesus, we ask today that there will be peace in Jerusalem, and that your purposes be established in that city. Amen (Ps 122:6)

PRAYER FOR UNITY IN THE CHURCH
Father in the name of Jesus, we ask that you will use Christian authorities to inspire peace and unity in the Body of Christ, in Jesus name.

PRAYER FOR SOULS/ REVIVAL
Father in the name of Jesus, we ask for greater wisdom, strategy, and resources that will enable us reach more people in this city, in Jesus name.
