THE HONOUR THAT IS DUE

Proverbs 3:9
“Honour the LORD with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thine increase

The first fruit is an honour system that places God first. It involves giving God the first part of your income or a particular substance as a sign of honour. This act of giving God the first portion of your earnings or produce demonstrates your acknowledgment of God’s leadership and provision in your life.

Also, when you give the first fruit, you are declaring that He is the source of all that you have. Just as in a business partnership, the senior partner takes the first, so when you give God the first before taking anything for yourself, you are saying He is the leader over your finances.

This act of honouring God with the first fruits will set the stage for God’s abundance and provision in your life, causing you to lead a life of abundance and provision in every area. Glory be to God!

Startup Prayer: Father in the name of Jesus, I declare you as my Source, and deserving of the first place in my life. Help me to honour you so in my heart and with my finances, in Jesus Name.

PRAYER FOR A NATION – SOLOMON ISLAND.
The Solomon’s have a history of revivals in churches even up to 1990’s. However, new charismatic networks and churches emerged in another wave of spiritual life. Presently, Evangelical and Charismatic believers have grown in number across almost all denominations.

Prayer for the nation: Father in the name of Jesus, we pray that the churches in Solomon Island will not deviate from the truth, rather, that they will walk worthy of you, in Jesus name.

Prayer for the leaders: Father in the name Jesus, we ask that you will grant the leaders of Solomon Islands the ability to distinguish between righteous counsel and the deceitful counsels of the wicked. Surround them with righteous men and women who will give them sound advice, in Jesus name.

PRAYER FOR ISRAEL – (Ps 122:6)
Father in the name of Jesus, we ask today that there will be peace in Jerusalem and that your purposes be established in that city. Amen (Ps 122:6)

PRAYER FOR UNITY IN THE CHURCH
Father in the name of Jesus, we ask for the spirit of humility and patience to be activated in believers today, that we may show tolerance for one another in love, in Jesus name.

PRAYER FOR SOULS/ REVIVAL
Father in the name of Jesus, we decree that the feet of ripe souls are led our way today so that they may be established in your kingdom, in Jesus name.
