THE MOMENTUM OF THANKSGIVING

Scriptural Text: Malachi 3:16
“Then they that feared the LORD spake often one to another: and the LORD hearkened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the LORD, and that thought upon his name. ”

Our opening text today shows us how God listens to the conversations of men and gives special attention to what is said.

A book of remembrance is opened before Him each time you thank Him or talk about His goodness and faithfulness. But why does God do this?

Each time you declare the great and mighty things that God has done in your life, He writes your Name in the book,

so that He may do you good in the day of need and make you reap what you have declared about Him all along. Glory to God!

Thus, with your words, you can enrol yourself for God’s visitation and a greater manifestation of His glory in the

incoming month. How? By constantly talking about His faithfulness and giving Him thanks in all that you do today. Hallelujah!

Father in the name of Jesus, I declare that you are faithful and true. I give you thanks for your blessings over me in the month of February. Blessed be your Name!

PRAYER FOR A NATION - ST. LUCIA
Evangelically-oriented churches have multiplied. However, there is the need for true unity amid the increasing diversity so that churches can offer a united front for the Gospel's sake.

Prayer for the nation:
Father in the name of Jesus, we ask that you will pour out your Spirit upon this nation, and cause there to be a new wave of unity among believers in the nation, in Jesus Name.

Prayer for the leaders:
Father in the name of Jesus, give unto the leaders of St. Lucia a heart to know you, that they might be yielded to the leadership of your Spirit, in Jesus name.

🕍 PRAYER FOR ISRAEL – ( Psalms 122-6 )(Ps 122:6)
Father in the name of Jesus, we ask today that there will be peace in Jerusalem and that your purposes be established in that city. Amen (Ps 122:6)

PRAYER FOR UNITY IN THE CHURCH:
Father, we pray that the church will be baptized with the spirit of love and unity, and thus, experience growth and increase, in Jesus name.

💒PRAYER FOR SOULS / REVIVAL
Father in the name of Jesus, we pray for the lost and unsaved souls, that their eyes will be opened to see the door of escape that you have provided for them, in Jesus' name.

THE MOMENTUM OF THANKSGIVING

SPEAK IN FAITH
Scriptural Text: 1 Samuel 17:45
“Then said David to the Philistine, Thou comest to me with a sword, and with a spear, and with a shield: but I come to thee in the name of the Lord of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom thou hast defied._
in 1 Samuel 17:42-44, Goliath had presented himself against the army of Israel with his imposing size, threats and battle weapons, and no one dared to challenge Him. However, in our opening Scripture, David refused to see his own physical inadequacy before Goliath, who apart from being a giant, also came well equipped for the battle.
David recognized that the battle was not his, but the Lord's, and so he began to SEE the defeat of Goliath and began to DECLARE it, challenging him in the name of the Lord. With this momentum that had welled up in him, he ran towards Goliath and delivered the sling shot that brought the giant down.
This year, refuse to consider the enormity of your situation or to take its threats to heart. Do not allow fear gain access to your heart to kill your momentum.
Rather, see with the eyes of faith what God can do and what He has promised. Then, declare in line what He has said, believing in your heart, knowing that the battle is the Lord’s. When you align with God in faith this way, you will always have the victory. Glory to God!

Father in the name of Jesus, I ask for grace to esteem and consider your Word above any challenge, threat or limitation. Help me to live and act in faith always, in Jesus Name.
PRAYER FOR A NATION - SPAIN
The Muslim population is rapidly growing. Drug addiction is a stain on Spain, which rates as one of Europe's spot for heroin and cocaine addiction. This in turn is a major contributing factor in the AIDS epidemic and the crime rate in the nation. Young people need the Gospel, having given themselves over to postmodern materialism and hedonism.
Prayer for the nation:
Father in the name of Jesus, we pray for an outpour of Your spirit upon the land, that many will encounter Christ and be saved, in the name of Jesus.
Prayer for the leaders:
Father in the name of Jesus, we ask that you will cause passionate believers to rise into positions of authority, and to use their influence to encourage the spread of the Gospel in the nation, in Jesus name.

Father in the name of Jesus, we come against erroneous doctrines that is spreading and causing hate and disunity in the body of Christ, in Jesus name.

Father in the name of Jesus, we pray that as we share the word to the unsaved, that these words will not be stolen from their hearts but, will bring about the salvation and restoration of their souls in Jesus name.
