Trusting Your Pastor

Read in your own language

For though you might have ten thousand instructors in Christ, yet you do not have many fathers; for in Christ Jesus I have begotten you through the gospel- 1 Corinthian 4:15

The importance of a pastor cannot be overemphasized, because the pastor is the door that permits whatever happens in the church. He is the authority given by God to directly deal with the sheep (church members). God does not joke with his sheep (you), because you were purchased by the blood of His son Jesus Christ. This is why the Lord is committed to giving the sheep pastors after his own heart who will feed them with knowledge and understanding.

God has saddled your pastor with the responsibility of feeding you, fathering you, coaching, training, and mentoring you, serving as your priest, and also your covering. So, get the best of your pastor, it is important you learn to co-operate with him, trust and submit to his leadership as one who is an Oracle of God sent to help you. Believe in him, be prompt to obey instructions, honor, and serve him as unto the Lord. This is for your benefit.

Therefore, x-ray your life, check your trust level. Do you trust your pastor; do you honor him as a man of God, your covering? Are you prompt to obey instructions? Ask the Holy Spirit to help you relate with your man of God as you should and watch as God’s blessing flood your life Hallelujah
