WAR TO BE QUIET
Psalm 46:10
Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.
Your decision to maintain quiet times or devotion with God does not automatically make it an easy thing to do, because there are many things that will attempt to distract and stop you. You must war to be quiet in your mind, and still in your soul, like our opening scripture suggests.
You can war to be quiet by thinking on the word of God and its virtues. Focus your thoughts on things that are true, honest, just, pure, lovely, and of good report (Phil. 4:8), things that will bring praise to God. This is to ensure that you do not spend the time allocated to fellowship with God, ruminating on your struggles and troubles, but rather focusing on the Lord to whom you came.
Therefore, war to control your mind in your quiet time by casting down imaginations, that is, by declaring the word of God – the sword of the Spirit against that imagination and reasoning, so you can enjoy uninterrupted fellowship with your Father. Amen.

PRAYER FOR A NATION -SLOVAKIA.
Trained christians are lacking in the nation. There is an essential need for appropriate training for both leaders and believers. Though Bible Schools are available in the country, the wisdom regarding accreditation is however needed.
Prayer for the nation: Father in the name of Jesus, we pray that the Church in Slovakia will wax stronger and stronger, and become a strong force and voice in the nation, in Jesus name.
Prayer for the leaders: Father in the name of Jesus, we pray for wisdom upon the leaders of this nation to lead the people in unity for the stability and prosperity of the nation, in Jesus name.
PRAYER FOR ISRAEL – (Ps 122:6)
Father in the name of Jesus, we ask today that there will be peace in Jerusalem and that your purposes be established in that city. Amen (Ps 122:6)
PRAYER FOR UNITY IN THE CHURCH
Father in the name of Jesus, we pray that the spirit of love, unity and oneness be poured afresh upon the church, in Jesus name.
PRAYER FOR SOULS/ REVIVAL
Father in the name of Jesus, we ask that your word will continue to grow mightily and prevail, leading to a mass harvest of souls and revival in our city and environs, in Jesus name.
