The devil cannot resist the power in the word of God when spoken with understanding; he will always bow to the Word of God. Jesus could not have used the word of God, if He did not know it. This is where a lot of believers have failed. They do not know enough of the word of God, so when the devil comes against them, they cannot prevail.

The sword of the Spirit with which we war against Satan in the realms of the spirit is the Word. And by this word we can quench all the fiery darts of the enemy. This means we must not only know the word, but we must also speak the word consistently and fill our prayers with the word of God.

The word of God spoken consistently in faith is what prevails over the power of the enemy. This is prayer in itself – speaking God’s Word over and in every situation. Thus, you ought to know the Word as it relates to every area of your life. Know what God’s word says about your health, finances, family, and your total well-being.

Thus, the key to speaking the word consistently is meditating on the word, because what we meditate on fills our subconscious and thus flows from our heart to our tongue unconsciously. What we fill our hearts with is what comes out of our mouth (Matt.12:34). If we fill our hearts with the word of God, we will automatically speak the word, and so will our victory over the devil manifest!

1. Prayer for the nation: Father in the name of Jesus, we ask for an outpour of your Spirit upon Palau, that will cause a mighty harvest of souls into the Kingdom, in the name of Jesus!

2. Prayer for the leaders: Father in the name of Jesus, touch the hearts of the Palau Island leaders today, and cause them to desire righteousness and begin to thirst for the truth, in the name of Jesus.
