BE FIT FOR THE MASTERS USE

2Timothy 2:20
“But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honour, and some to dishonour.”

The Apostle Paul’s use of the word vessel in our opening text today while alluding to who we ought to be, is of great significance. A vessel is meant to contain something, meaning that as believers, we have been called to hold the Presence of God and bear the message of the Gospel of Christ in all sincerity and Holiness.

To be fit for the Master’s use, we must be honourable vessels set apart as holy, dedicated to God’s purposes and ready to be used by Him in whatever ways He seems fit. This begins with a process of consecrating ourselves from sin and all that is dishonourable, while actively seeking to live according to God’s standards as shown in the Word. By purifying our hearts and minds, we become vessels that are suitable for honourable use, reflecting the character of Christ in all that we do.

Therefore, in this time of revival, be prepared and ready for every good work that God calls you to by setting your heart to serve wholeheartedly in the spread of the Gospel of Christ, using our gifts, talents and resources in soulwinning and the expansion of His kingdom without distraction. Hallelujah!

PRAYER FOR A NATION-TAJIKSTAN
Christianity is a minority religion in Tajikistan. Church services are often disrupted and Christians risk harassment and arrest for holding private prayer meetings or possessing ‘illegal’ religious material

Prayer for the nation:
Father in the name of Jesus, we ask that you pour out your Spirit upon the nation Tajikistan, and cause the heart of the people and leaders alike to be turned unto you, that they may align with your will for the nation, in Jesus Name.

Prayer for the leaders:
Father in the name of Jesus, grant unto this nation, leaders whose hearts will set to know and search out true wisdom to receive instruction for justice, judgement, and equity, in Jesus name.

PRAYER FOR ISRAEL – (Ps 122:6)
Father in the name of Jesus, we ask today that there will be peace in Jerusalem and that your purposes be established in that city. Amen (Ps 122:6)

PRAYER FOR UNITY IN THE CHURCH
Father, we ask for the spirit of revival to be upon this city, that many will believe and turn from their ways leading to a mighty harvest of souls.

PRAYER FOR SOULS/ REVIVAL
outreaches, let our words be accompanied with miracles, signs, and wonders, leading to the salvation of many souls, in Jesus’ name.
