DECISION IS DESTINATION

Proverbs 24:6
“For by wise counsel thou shalt make thy war: and in multitude of counsellors there is safety.”

A wise man once said, decision is destiny. In other words, as you make decisions every day about different aspects of your life, you are inadvertently determining your own destiny. Your choice of who to marry, what product or service to launch, who to hire or fire, where to invest, etc. all sum up into what you will experience in your life or Business. How true!

This, having the right counsel at every juncture is therefore important, so you can make informed decisions that can give you an edge towards success each time.

Our opening text goes further to emphasize the place and importance of a wise counsel, showing that a man who operates by them will walk in safety. Counsel, when given by a knowledgeable and experienced person, can therefore be very instrumental in your journey to success.

Whether it is through a trusted friend, a mentor, or professional counsellor, a good counsel can be a powerful springboard for your personal growth, and career development. Thus, you must be positioned to receive counsel with an open heart and mind, being mindful of the implications of your decisions.

Therefore, whenever you are on the verge of making an important decision, remember to seek wholesome counsel before you act. Also, take the time to think and pray through your decisions, and trust the Holy Spirit to lead you on to success.

Startup Prayer: Father in the name of Jesus, help me to recognize, appreciate and utilize the wise counsels of the specific people you have placed in my life, in the name of Jesus.

PRAYER FOR A NATION-SWAZILAND
The impact of HIV and AIDS cannot be overstated – it has devastated the population. Life expectancy plummeted to age 32 in 2008 and 26% of adults are HIV-positive. Sixty-one percent of all deaths could be attributed to HIV/AIDS.

Prayer for the nation:
Father in the name of Jesus, we ask for wisdom upon missionaries and the ministers in Switzerland, that they may effectively preach the Gospel in the nation, in the name of Jesus.

Prayer for the leaders:
Father in the name of Jesus, we pray for the salvation of the leaders of Switzerland, that they may know you and submit to your leadership in Jesus name.

PRAYER FOR ISRAEL – (Ps 122:6)
Father in the name of Jesus, we ask today that there will be peace in Jerusalem and that your purposes be established in that city. Amen (Ps 122:6)

PRAYER FOR UNITY IN THE CHURCH
Dear Lord, we ask that you will inspire the leadership of the church in our nation to pursue unity according to your will in the name of Jesus.

PRAYER FOR SOULS/ REVIVAL
Father in the name of Jesus, we pray for the lost in our city and its environ, that the light of the glorious Gospel of Christ will shine unto them, thereby destroying every veil that blinds their minds from the truth.
