SEEK IMPROVEMENT

Proverbs 4:18 –
“ But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day.”

In our opening text today, the Bible shows us the trajectory of the righteous man. Notice how such a man is compared to a light that shines brighter and brighter with each passing day. This speaks of great improvements by the day, from one level of glory to another.

God wants you to move from one level to another as you walk with Him. This will require that you cooperate with Him by adopting a growth mindset, looking out for areas of improvement in your life each and every day, and working with the Holy Ghost to grow in those aspects.

To make things better, action is essential. As you study the Word each day for instance, be committed to implementing the truth of God’s Word in every aspect of your life. When the Holy Spirit opens your eyes to an area that you need to work on, begin to prayerfully take steps to implement the changes needed to imbibe new virtues.

Remember that it often takes small but consistent steps to build momentum towards positive change. Even small actions can have a significant impact over time. So, do not relent at working towards improvement in your attitude, your business, spiritual life, etc. remembering that whatsoever you put your hands to do should improve and expand until it takes over its sphere, because it is in you to shine more and more with each passing day.

PRAYER FOR A NATION-SWITZERLAND
Not long ago, almost every person in Switzerland would have been a Christian. Today, around one in seven considers himself non-religious. Muslims account for as much as 6% with many other religions appearing and growing rapidly.

Prayer for the nation:
Father in the name of Jesus, we ask for the believers in this nation, that their faith will be established on the Word, and that their faith will produce results daily, in Jesus Name.

Prayer for the leaders:
Dear Father, we ask that you will give the leaders of the nation divine wisdom to promote righteousness, equity and justice, in Jesus name.

PRAYER FOR ISRAEL – (Ps 122:6)
Father in the name of Jesus, we ask today that there will be peace in Jerusalem and that your purposes be established in that city. Amen (Ps 122:6)

PRAYER FOR UNITY IN THE CHURCH
Father in the name of Jesus, we bind every spirit of conflict and misunderstanding in the church today, and we ask that the spirit of unity and love will abound amongst believers, in the name of Jesus.

PRAYER FOR SOULS/ REVIVAL
Dear Father, we pray for every unsaved soul in our nation, that you will give them the grace to turn from their wicked ways, and accept the love of Chris
