Genesis 4:1
“And Adam knew Eve his wife; and she conceived, and bare Cain, and said, I have gotten a man from the LORD.”
It is important to note that as believers, it is our duty to follow completely what the word shows. Many people observe what is done in the world and pattern their lives that way. But popular opinion may not be God’s way. Only the Word should guide us as believers, not our feelings or situations.
Our opening scripture for example details the right order in marriage- yet the world we live in today clamors for same sex marriage which is totally out of the context of scriptures. God designed for a man to be joined in holy matrimony to a woman (Mark 10:7), and for them to bring forth children who they would together bring up in the way of the Lord. Thus, there is no such thing as same sex marriage.
We must therefore discover God’s will for every aspect of our lives. Our obedience honors Him.
So, if you want to attract God’s blessings and approval in your life, your life must be built according to His pattern. Remember obedience to God is the right way to honor Him and get His blessings upon your life. Halleluyah!
