A TIME OF REVIVAL

Psalm 85:6
“ Wilt thou not revive us again: that thy people may rejoice in thee?”

Revival is a powerful and transformative experience in the life of a believer and the church at large. It is a time when the Holy Spirit, who is the administrator of a revival, moves in a mighty way to bring about renewal, repentance, and restoration in a person or a people.

Unlike what many people think, revival is not just an outburst of the Holy Ghost upon a group of people. It begins as a Movement or a message, which grows to become widely accepted. This message then causes a great awakening, that is, a great change in a person or people, which then translates into a massive change or reformation in societal life.

Therefore, having this understanding, set your heart on experiencing a revival in your life, home, city, and nation at large this month, knowing that it is the will of God for you, and that the Holy Spirit is ready to begin with you as you partner with Him in prayer for the change that you intend to see. Hallelujah!

Startup Prayer: Startup Prayer: Father in the name of Jesus, let your revival begin with me today. Cause a mighty reformation in my home and society, to the glory of your name. Amen.

PRAYER FOR A NATION-TURKEY
Since up to 98 percent of the population are Muslims, Christians are a minority religion in Turkey. During the Ottoman period, a system of tax was implemented taking 50 percent of earnings from non-Muslims as opposed to a small amount from Muslims. This resulted in a large number of peasants converting their faith to Islam.

Prayer for the nation:
Father, in the name of Jesus, we pray that the hearts of people in the land will be opened to receive the truth of God’s word, even in the face of persecution, in Jesus’ Name.

Prayer for the leaders:
Father, in the name of Jesus, we ask for your Spirit to rest upon the leaders of this nation that they will begin to speak by the influence of your Spirit, whether they know it or not.

PRAYER FOR ISRAEL – (Ps 122:6)
Father in the name of Jesus, we ask today that there will be peace in Jerusalem and that your purposes be established in that city. Amen (Ps 122:6)

PRAYER FOR UNITY IN THE CHURCH
FFather, we pray for the spirit of willingness to rest upon the body of Christ. That the people will be willing to avail themselves to labour more for the kingdom.

PRAYER FOR SOULS/ REVIVAL
Father, in the name of Jesus, we ask that you will pour out your Spirit upon the lost and unsaved in our city, that they will begin to drawn to repentance, and begin to long for righteousness in the name of Jesus.
