SCRIPTURAL TEXT: JOHN 15:4
Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.
September 28th
Abiding in Christ is non-negotiable for a child of God that desires to be fruitful and dominate in life. It is not enough to be great or to be influential in this world, we must strive to make impact that transcends the natural world; but to do this, our scripture for today tells us emphatically that we must abide in Christ and Him in us.
You abide in Christ when you are in union with Him. This can happen by your confession of Him, by practicing the Word He reveals to you, by walking in righteousness, by following His steps and direction, and by living in love towards men. When you do all of these things you are abiding in Him.
If you struggle to bear fruits in the kingdom and dominate in the world, check your alignment. Are you truly aligned? Nobody can make an impact in the kingdom without being in alignment with God. Begin today to abide in Christ, Let Him become your focus and the centre of your life. Glory to God!
PRAYER FOR THE DAY
Dear Father, I ask for grace to align completely with you, cause your word to be my guide in Jesus name.
PRAYER FOR LATIVIA
There is unprecedented unity in the churches in fighting against the aggressive lobbying by homosexuals and anti-family agendas causing an emerging revival in Latvia. However, there is still a low reach to the unsaved especially in the rural areas of Latvia.
Y: We are praying for the believers in authority in Latvia that they will stand for the Gospel and not be ashamed of it.
PRAYER FOR ISRAEL
Father, I ask today that there will be peace in Jerusalem and that your purposes be established in that city. Amen (Ps 122:6).
PRAYER FOR NATIONS/LEADERS
Dear Father, we ask that you will sovereignly place the right people in power, those that will implement your plan and will on the earth.
PRAYER FOR UNITY IN THE CHURCH
Help us to be diligent to preserve the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.
PRAYER FOR SOULS / REVIVAL
Father in the name of Jesus, we pray for men and women out there in the city who do not know you; we cry out for their souls that they will be convinced of the reality of Christ’s death, burial, and resurrection and that they will be bold to accept and declare his Lordship.
