_But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall._
The fear of God has numerous benefits, one of which is healing. Our opening scripture confirms this by alluding to the fact that it is consistent with heaven’s agenda for a man to enjoy healing when he fears God. How profound!
So, even though God is merciful and is a healer, He reserves the right to determine who He will shew mercy to, or heal (Exodus 33:19b). And from the Scriptures, we see that one major criterion that qualifies us for God’s healing, is having the fear of God. Despite the gravity of Ahab’s sins, it pleased God to extend the calamity that was to befall him, to the next generation, because he feared and then humbled himself before God (1kings 21:27-29). Also, the death angel was stayed from executing his destruction, when David feared for numbering Israel and humbled himself before the Lord (2 Sam 24:25).
Do you need a healing or a restoration in your body today? Make the fear of God become a daily operation in your life, and it will earn you access to supernatural healing, whenever you need it. Indeed, the fear of God is a shortcut to divine healing. Halleluyah!
