SCRIPTURAL TEXT: 1 Chronicles 29:11-13
“Thine, O LORD, is the greatness, and the power, and the glory, and the victory, and the majesty: for all that is in the heaven and in the earth is thine;
thine is the kingdom, O LORD, and thou art exalted as head above all. Both riches and honour come of thee, and thou reignest over all; and in thine
hand is power and might; and in thine hand it is to make great, and to give strength unto all. Now therefore, our God, we thank thee, and praise thy
glorious name

It is important that we know who God is. We cannot exist apart from Him, the
earth and multiverse and everything were created by Him and are held
together by Him. Apart from God, every single thing, including all of us will
cease to exist, because in Him we live and move and have our being (Acts 17:28).
There is no ‘you’ without Him. This understanding is the foundation of your
worship.
God made man in His image and gave us freewill. Freewill is God’s test of worship. The real design of freewill is
for you to use it to worship God but, God gave you to see what you will do with it. Sadly, many times, we use it
for ourselves and everything else and forget the God by whom all things were made and by whom all things exist
and consist.
Every single thing we are and have is from God. We were not born for ourselves but for Him, therefore, we must
live to worship. It is wisdom to live all the days of your life worshipping Him. Worship brings you into the
throne room of God; and as you continue in the life of worship, your spiritual faculties will be open and
activated to interact more with the God you worship. Glory to God.
PRAYER FOR THE DAY
Dear Father, help me to make your word my daily
meditation, cause my mind to ponder only on the
truth and not on my circumstance in Jesus name
PRAYER FOR LEBANON
Background: Over 29% are unreached with the Gospel in Lebanon. Conversion to Christ, although legal, is nonetheless very costly. Despite
this, the number of those coming to Jesus is significantly increasing but the Shi’a Muslims are the fastest growing population and increasingly
influential.
We are praying for the Christians that they will occupy places of advantage and seats of government to further advance the
kingdom of God.
We pray that you would give the President wisdom to surround himself with counselors who have our country’s best interest at
heart.
PRAYER FOR ISRAEL
Father, I ask today that there will be peace in
Jerusalem and that your purposes be
established in that city. Amen (Ps 122:6)
PRAYER FOR NATIONS/LEADERS
Dear Lord, give our leaders humility and respect for one another.
PRAYER FOR UNITY IN THE CHURCH
We pray that the message of the cross, the message of redemption
in Christ will be the focus of the church in Jesus name.
PRAYER FOR SOULS / REVIVAL
Father in the name of Jesus, we ask that your word will grow mightily and prevail, leading to a mass harvest
of souls and revival in our city and environ.
