SCRIPTURAL TEXT: Luke 3:21
“When all the people were being baptized, Jesus was baptized too. And as he was praying, heaven was opened…”
-ACTIVATING OPEN HEAVENS-
In our scriptural text for today, you will observe that the heavens opened while Jesus prayed. He activated his open heavens not by being baptized but while he prayed. It is one thing to be involved in religious activities and another to see the spiritual implication and hence, engage in deep prayers. If you want to experience open heaven, go beyond religious activities and traditions. Let everything be by prayer and nothing without prayer.
The importance of prayer in activating open heavens is like water to dry and barren land. Your posture to receive open heaven should be one of the constant and genuine prayers (Jeremiah 29:13). That is how to position yourself for an open heaven experience. In prayer, your heart, mind, and focus are on God. When you are constantly in this posture, the Holy Ghost will enable you to avoid people, places, and things that will cause you to sin and draw you away from God hence, closing your heavens.
Make up your mind to live a life of consistent prayers because prayer is the necessary investment you need to reap an open heaven experience.
PRAYER FOR THE DAY
Dear Father, I receive grace to have a consistent prayer life in Jesus name.

Father, I ask today that there will be peace in Jerusalem and that your purposes be established in that city. Amen (Ps 122:6)

Father in the name of Jesus, we bind and destroy every anti-revival strategy and operation of Satan in the city that tries to lure men away from God.
