SCRIPTURAL TEXT: Isaiah 12:3
I stay awake through the night, thinking about your promise.
August 5th
“Therefore with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation”.
Salvation is a package that contains all of God’s blessings for us. Redemption, sanctification, deliverance, and all that you desire from God are wrapped in salvation. Everything we need is in it and our opening text shows us a secret to unwrapping and experiencing them – Joy is that secret. It is a necessity and without it, you will be missing one of the vital steps to answered prayers and this can lead to an abortion of what has already begun.
Once you have vowed, prayed, meditated, and received a word of prophecy that brings peace, you must become Joyful and this leads to worship. Refuse sadness, depression, complaining, and murmuring. The bible tells us that God meets him who rejoices. (Isaiah 64:5). Maintain an atmosphere of joy because anything otherwise shows a lack of faith.
Make up your mind today to live in an atmosphere of Joy consistently. As you keep a joyful environment and worship the Lord, you will begin to experience the manifestation of your desires. Glory to God!
PRAYER FOR THE DAY
Dear Father, I ask for grace to stay joyful always in Jesus name.e
PRAYER FOR ISRAEL
Father, I ask today that there will be peace in Jerusalem and that your purposes be established in that city. Amen (Ps 122:6).
We pray that the message of the cross, the message of redemption in Christ will be the focus of the church in Jesus name.
PRAYER FOR SOULS / REVIVAL
Father in the name of Jesus, we ask that your word will grow mightily and prevail, leading to a mass harvest of souls and revival in our city and environs.
