SCRIPTURAL TEXT: 2 King 7:1
Then Elisha said, Hear ye the word of the LORD; Thus saith the LORD, To morrow about this time shall a measure of fine flour be sold for a shekel, and two measures of barley for a shekel, in the gate of Samaria
God’s prophets are His mouthpiece to you. They reveal the mind of God to His people. Our opening scripture shows us that very clearly. Prophet Elijah had spoken the mind of God for recovery in Samaria. The Word of the Lord came to pass as spoken by the prophet,
however, the king’s officer initially scoffed at it and so he never experienced it.

Do you believe the prophecy of restoration as prophesied by the prophet of God or will you scoff at it? When God gives you a word or prophecy through your man of God, you must take a hold of it, believe it and war with it. God Himself says you should believe His prophet and you will prosper. (2 Chronicles 20:20).
You must not take God’s word to you through the mouth of your prophet lightly. It is potent enough to change your situation and bring unlimited breakthroughs and overtaking testimonies in your life. Your God is a God who confirms the words of His servant, and performs the counsel of His messengers (Isaiah 44:26). He has said to us that it is recovery time! Believe it with all your heart, because it will surely come to pass Hallelujah!

Dear Father, I pray for grace to take every word from my Prophet seriously, I do not give in to doubt and unbelief in Jesus name

Father, I ask today that there will be peace in Jerusalem and that your purposes be established in that city. Amen (Ps 122:6)

Background: The majority are Christians. Cape Verde Islands has a population of 512,582 out of which 490,000 Caboverdians are living in migrant communities; the largest is in New England, USA (266,000), Portugal (80,000), Angola (46,000), Senegal, and France. We are praying for the Christians in Cape Verde Islands that the Spirit of God will have free course in their hearts. Dear Lord, we pray that our leaders will be emotionally and psychologically whole in Jesus name.
