“Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby”
Hebrews 12:11
When God loves a man, He chastens or disciplines him. This discipline is not joyous as our scriptural text reveals. However, God does this for a reason, that the man may produce fruits of righteousness. In other words, God chastens you with the intent that you may become fruitful.
It is who the Father loves, He chastens (Proverbs 3:12). This is why you ought to develop the right attitude towards God’s discipline. Do not despise the chastening of the LORD (Hebrews 12:5). Yield yourself to it (Hebrews 3:11). Endure it because God is dealing with you like His Son (Hebrews 12:7).
Remember, the discipline of the Father is designed to cause you to bear more fruits to the glory of His name. Halleluyah.
Prophecy 1: Receive grace to endure the chastening of the Father today, that you may be purged to bear more fruits, in Jesus’ name.
Prophecy 2: As you step out today, may you find favour before God and men, in Jesus’ name.

Dear Father, give me the humility to receive chastisement, that I may experience much fruitfulness in my life, in Jesus name. Amen.
