Whenever the kitchen sink gets clogged up with solid wastes from cooking activities, the whole place becomes a mess. The water cannot drain out easily, and the smell just keeps getting worse. It is much the same environment we create in our lives when we clog the atmosphere with worries, complains etc., which snuffs out the joy of God’s Presence.

Like we see in our opening text today, certain issues are to be dealt with and resolved promptly to ensure that they do not become substrates for the enemy to build upon and hinder what the Spirit of God wants to do in our lives.

To see more of the Glory of God in our lives, we must practice and imbibe a word-based lifestyle that is based on the biblical principles of love, joy, peace, patience, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, and temperance (Gal 5:22-23). These sanctify the atmosphere over our lives, attract the presence of God and cause His Glory to be seen upon us wherever we go.

Therefore, clear up the atmosphere today by practicing a word-based lifestyle. Let the fruits of God’s Spirit blossom in you as you yield to God’s Word in every situation and allow His Spirit to lead you, especially in the aspect of forgiving others and walking in love. Give the devil no room, and let nothing steal your joy or hinder what God wants to do in your life.

Due to the massive expatriate influence in Oman, people are free to practice varying faiths, and the government has even given land for places of worship. But, it remains illegal to share the Gospel with Muslims who make up about 90% of the population.

1. Prayer for the nation: Father in the name of Jesus, we ask for an outpour of your Spirit upon Oman, that will cause a mighty harvest of souls into the Kingdom, in the name of Jesus.

2. Prayer for the leaders: Father, we pray that the leaders of Oman will be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth in Jesus name.
