COMMUNICATE TO YOUR PASTOR

Read in your own language

Galatians 6:6 – Let him that is taught in the word communicate unto him that teacheth in all good things.

Giving to Pastors remains one of the most controversial and antagonized subjects around the world, today. However, the Scriptures have a different stand-point on this matter, as we can see from our opening Scripture, amongst others.

The Bible clearly teaches that the person who is taught the Word of God, ought to communicate in all good things (which means to give, in this context), to the one that teaches him the Word of God. In 1 Corinthians 9:10-13, Paul further explained that just as the man who sows in hope expects to reap from that which he sows; it should not be a big thing for the man that sows spiritual things to reap carnal things from the man whose life he has sown into. Hence, it should not be a big thing to eventually give in cash or in kind, to the man who stands by you, teaching you the Word of God; praying and fasting for your healings, breakthroughs, and more; and providing you with every godly counsel and direction that you require to achieve your goals. Truly such a man deserves your double honor.

So, in 1 Timothy 5:17, Paul admonished the Church to give unto the elders that rule well, double honor; so that while it is good to “do good” (give) to all men, especially those of the household of faith (Galatians 6:10), it is very important to always specially recognize the elders/Pastors in the Church that rule well, and to give unto them double honor, not just honor; contrary to the world’s opinion. This is the desire of God. Glory to God!

Prophecy 1: Receive a heart that truly honors pastors in every way in Jesus’ name.

Prophecy 2: As you step out today, may all the good things of life be attracted to you in Jesus’ name.

Action Points

W: Plan to honor your pastors by giving to them. Make a habit of it.

X: I decree and I declare that I walk in the fullness of grace today!

Spain

Muslims are rapidly growing. Drug addiction is a stain on Spain and rates as one of Europe’s spot for heroin and cocaine addiction. This in turn is a major contributing factor in the AIDS epidemic and the crime rate in the nation. Young people need the gospel, having given themselves over to postmodern materialism and hedonism.

Y: We are praying the churches in the Nation that they will be a force to fight against drug use, crime and immorality, etc.

Startup Prayer: Dear Father, help me to be a doer of the words I learned today by honoring my pastor in words and in-kind in Jesus’ name.
