“Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.”

John 15:8

Another important foundation for fruitfulness is the discipline to be discipled by Jesus. It is important that we discipline ourselves to be discipled by Him.

To be discipled, is to submit yourself to the authority, teachings and way of another. In other words, a disciple does not go his own way, or does whatever he likes. Thus, to be discipled by Jesus, is to submit yourself to His authority and to His words, only doing that which pleases Him.  

Simply put, to be discipled by Him is to follow closely after Him. This process of discipleship is what causes us to conform to His image (Roman 8:29). When we submit ourselves to be discipled by Him, we become more like Him. We begin to take His shape or image, bringing us into harmony with Him.  This is God’s plan and it brings glory to Him (John 15:8). 

Prophecy 1: Receive grace to humble yourself to be discipled in Jesus name.         

 Prophecy 2: As you step out today, may there be sudden breakthrough for you in Jesus name.

Action Points

W: Ask the Holy Spirit to help discipline you, so you can submit to the discipleship of Christ.
