SCRIPTURAL TEXT: DANIEL 9:3 KJV
And I set my face unto the Lord God, to seek by prayer and supplications, with
fasting, and sackcloth, and ashes:

Positioning yourself to receive a spiritual encounter from the Lord
requires a lot of sacrifice. Fasting is a spiritual investment or sacrifice
for a spiritual gain. It involves depriving yourself of your legal rights
or benefits so that you can experience something supernatural.
According to our scriptural text, we see how Daniel set his heart towards the Lord as regarding an
issue; he was resolute in his desires to see a change and he humbled himself with sack clothes, ashes,
fasting, and prayers. As he began to fast and pray, Daniel’s answer was released from the heavenlies
yet, it failed to manifest. But, as he persisted in praying and fasting, the spiritual hindrance was finally
broken, and an angel was sent to release his answers.
There are battles in the realms of the spirit you can put an end to by unceasing prayers and fasting. Do
not stop until your answers are released.
PRAYER FOR THE DAY
Dear Father, I receive strength to invest in fasting and prayers in
Jesus name.

Background: Lesotho is a Christian nation with just about 8% unreached with the gospel but, most were never fully converted.
The social pressure against becoming born again is wielded by traditional religious forces. The churches in Lesotho maintain a low
impact on society.
We are praying breaking every hold of darkness keeping the people bound; we pray that they will be set free from it.
Dear Father, grant the leaders the grace to face unique challenges regarding political unrest, financial crisis, law
enforcement, racial division, and so on.
PRAYER FOR ISRAEL
Father, I ask today that there will be peace in
Jerusalem and that your purposes be
established in that city. Amen (Ps 122:6)
PRAYER FOR UNITY IN THE CHURCH
We pray that the vision of the church will be focused on seeking
and saving the lost like Christ did in Jesus name

Father in the name of Jesus, we ask for greater wisdom, strategy, and resources that will enable us reach more
