SCRIPTURAL TEXT: Ps 23:3
He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake
T
he battle field of life is the mind; the major battles we face as believers, take place in the mind. Many have learnt to win physical battles which may require physical strength or strategy, yet they have not learnt to win the war in their minds. The Apostle Paul recognizes this battle and submits that our warfare is not a physical one, rather it is war against strongholds and imaginations in the mind which seek to usurp Christ’s authority and snatch His rule in our soul.
In our opening scripture, the Psalmist reveals moments where a believer’s soul may have strayed from the right paths, succumbing to the devices and deceit of the enemy. Just like a sheep which has carelessly strayed from its fold is sought for and restored by the shepherd, so the Lord Himself Who is the Great Shepherd seeks after and restores the soul of His sheep. Halleluyah!
Have you been beaten down in your mind and all hope seems lost? Do you seem to have lost battles in your mind and now you feel like a strayed sheep caught up in the enemy’s camp? There is good news for you today, because the Lord is able and willing to restore your soul. You can put out your faith completely in Him to restore you. Begin by calling on Him now!

Dear Father, restore my soul, fill my heart with joy and the peace that passes all human understanding in Jesus name

Background: 24% are unreached with the Gospel of Christ. Though the population is largely Christian, Muslim missionaries (who outnumber Christian ones) are pushing for greater Islamic influence. There are presently about 900,000 Muslims in the nation. We are praying for the nation of Bulgaria that the Gospel of Christ will prevail within her. Father, grant this nation wise leaders; whose hearts will set to know and to search out true to receive instruction for justice, judgment, and equity.
