HOW TO MEDITATE EFFECTIVELY.

Read in your own language

Scriptural Text
Meditate upon these things; give thyself wholly to them; that thy profiting may appear to all. 1st Timothy 4:15

There are different forms of meditation which show the different ways we can engage effectively in meditation for a desirable change. One way we meditate is by musing. This means to deliberately think about something carefully and thoroughly; to be absorbed in thoughts. (Psalm 143:5). This does not entail being absent minded or staring into space but a deliberate concentration of thoughts.

Another way to meditate is through speaking. (Psalm 145:5). This is the highest form of meditation. Here, you also deliberately speak words to program your heart and condition your mind. Meditation is also done through thanksgiving to God as this helps you to see what God can do, by reflecting on what He has done.

The good news is, these forms of mediation can be engaged simultaneously or at different times. Therefore, you can make it a habit to always muse and talk about who God says you are and what God has said you can do, giving Him thanks all the way. This way, nothing would be able to stop you successfully.

Dear Father, I thank you for bringing me into the third month of 2022, and for your mercies over me since the year began. I am grateful for your ever-abiding presence in me and with me and I declare that my confidence is not in my own ability but in your Word. Help me to walk in faith throughout this month and to show forth your love to my world to the glory of your name. I consecrate my whole body, soul, and spirit to you today. Let your Name be glorified in me in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

G.PRAY FOR A COUNTRY IN NEED TODAY: BELGIUM
26% of the people are unreached with the Gospel. Spiritually, Belgium is one of the
neediest countries in Europe, with great spiritual apathy and faith largely banished from the public sphere; there are now 380 mosques in Belgium.
PRAY FOR BELGIUM; We are praying for the Christians in Belgium, that they will be a shining and burning light to their world.

H.PRAY FOR JERUSALEM
Father, I ask today that there will be peace in Jerusalem and that your purposes be established in that city. Amen (Psa. 122:6).
