Every man who wants to be successful, must train his mind to be appreciative. Appreciation refers to a feeling and show of gratitude for something done or received. Thus, true gratitude reflects not only in your words but also in reciprocal action.

To begin with, learn to express your appreciation to those who work with you, support your business, clients, and staff, etc., and those who contribute in any way to your comfort. Their help, no matter how small, makes your life easy. Do not take any form of help for granted.

However, there is another aspect of appreciation that you need to learn. This is appreciating people for who they are, especially those who are better than you are, or have attained more success in the area you are striving to succeed. It is wisdom to recognize that everyone is not equal or at the same level with you hence, they should not be treated the same way.

There are those who have gone before you and have made a success out of their lives. The fact that they have succeeded already shows that there is something they know and understand that you do not, and they have something to contribute to your success. Having this perception, translates into appreciation, which may translate into a mentorship relationship.

Therefore, do not let pride stop you from appreciating and acknowledging their achievements and accomplishments. Your appreciation may lead you to the open door you have been praying for.

Dear Father, help me to always show gratitude to all that are good to me in Jesus name.

PRAYER FOR A NATION – MEXICO
Persecution occurs in certain parts of Mexico. In the southern states, believers face prejudice, harassment, evictions, and church and property damage. This mostly occurs due to believers’ refusal to participate in community-religious events that involve traditional Christo-pagan practices.

1. Prayer for the nation: We are praying for the Christians in Mexico, that they will shine as light to their world and not compromise their faith in any way in the name of Jesus.
2. Prayer for the leaders: Father in the Name of Jesus, we pray for the leaders of Mexico; give them insight into the needs of their communities and discernment to make right and godly decisions in Jesus name.

🕍 PRAYER FOR ISRAEL – ( Psalms 122-6 )
Father, I ask today that there will be peace in Jerusalem and that your purposes be established in that city. Amen.

💒 PRAYER FOR UNITY IN THE CHURCH
