1 John 4:19

“In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.”

When acts of kindness or service to God become things done out of fear or compulsion, there is bound to be weariness and murmurings. This is because the strength you need to fully obey God and submit to Him, is found when you grow in your love for Him.

Our obedience to God ought to be a love affair and never a burden. We serve Him because we love Him and know that we owe Him our lives. As often as the need arises, we gladly and willingly give up what we have as long as He is the One who has need of it (Acts 2:45); just because we love Him.

Therefore, let your obedience be fueled by your love for God. Whatever you do today in His Name and for His cause, remember how God first loved you and showed you kindness, so that your obedience becomes automatic. Halleluyah!

Prophecy 1:  May your love for God increase in Jesus name.

Prophecy 2: As you step out today, may you be encompassed with favour as a shield in Jesus name.
