SCRIPTURAL TEXT: Deuteronomy 8:18 KJV
But thou shalt remember the LORD thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he
may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day.
God is the Source of all power that functions in the earth today. Absolutely nothing can be disconnected from Him. Without Him you would not be able to achieve true wealth nor maintain it. According to scriptures, a man cannot receive anything, except it is given to him from heaven (Roms13:1).
Our opening scripture reveals that it is God that gives the power to get wealth. This is a striking revelation. We are admonished therefore, to “remember” Him. Some believers upon arriving at a place of blessing, tend to forget where they are coming from and how the Lord empowered them. To remember God means to continually approach, acknowledge and honor Him as the Source of your blessings. What better way to do this, than to bring the fruits of that which He has blessed you with, to honor and advance His desires upon the earth!
When you do not give the glory and honour that is due to His name, you are declaring that your trust is in your own abilities and effort. On the other hand, each time you faithfully approach God and honor Him with the fat of your increase, just like Abel did, you are declaring that God is the Source of your prosperity and thus, establishing His mighty hand to glorify and multiply you.

PRAYER FOR THE DAY
Dear Father, thank you for your blessings in my life, help me never to forget the source of my multiplication and increase, I will forever trust you and honour you in Jesus name.

Father, I ask today that there will be peace in Jerusalem and that your purposes be established in that city. Amen (Ps 122:6)

government as there is a history of violence, corruption and tribalism in the leadership of the nation.
1. We are praying for a government that is a representative of both north and south, and will be honest and committed to the betterment of all of its citizens in Chad.
2. We pray for the leaders of this nation that even when they have different opinions and agendas, help them to find common ground and find ways to compromise.
PRAYER FOR SOULS / REVIVAL
Father in the name of Jesus, we ask that your word will continue to grow mightily and prevail, leading to a mass harvest of souls and revival in our nations and environs.
